Although it is winter, February is the perfect time of year to premiere the Chocolate Romance smoothie! This honors Black History, Love, and Valentine’s Day! Enjoy this decadent, enriching, yet nutrition-friendly smoothie!


Yield: 20 ounces

1 c almond milk

1 c ice cubes

1/2 c raw oats

2 Tbsp. cacao powder

1 Tbsp. flax seeds

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

2 scoops Unsweetened Plant Protein Powder

Drizzle of honey

1/2 banana

1 strawberry (garnish)


Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Pour almond milk into a blender. Add ice cubes, raw cacao powder, cinnamon, raw oats, flax seeds, banana, and plant protein powder. Drizzle honey into the current combination. Seal blender. Initiate blender on low and gradually increase the intensity of blending. Blend until consistency is smooth. Turn off blender. Pour into favorite cup. Garnish with a strawberry! Enjoy!
